About Me:
Hello, my name is Patricia Rameau, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker based out of New York City with 16 years of experience working with at-risk children, families, and adults. I am a committed advocate with a passion for identifying and understanding another person’s point of view. A key part of my practice is stepping into someone else’s shoes and recognizing that their experiences, perceptions, and worldviews are unique to them. I am well versed in and respect the need for cultural competence. My work focuses on assisting people who have been abused and neglected to improve their quality of life. I am a committed advocate with a passion for identifying and understanding another person’s point of view. For me, social work is not just a job, it is a passion of mine to change the way someone sees the world. In working with clients, I prioritize building relationships and advocating for vulnerable communities with hopes of creating social change. I am by your side every step of the way on this journey.
